DIAL, FRAME AND CROP YOUR PHOTOS
In addition to these few rules of composition to help organize the elements of your picture, you need to turn around your subject, assemble, déscendre you approach it, get away ... to find the best point of view.

1. The rule of thirds

Placement of the important elements of the image. The important points of the image and the masses of colors and values must be distributed along the lines that divide the image into three in the length or width (shéma).

It will be particularly careful to place the horizon, if necessary, the upper third or less of the image.

2. Guidelines

These are the guidelines (lines of force) of the image that will give its dynamic and "move" the subject.

The horizontal lines, put in perspective, appear oblique and energize the composition Parallel: horizontal, they stabilise, vertical launch they multiplied, they give rhythm ...

Obliques: they energize the composition

Curves, sinuous: they move the eye between the important points of the image.

You can change the tilt guidelines changing viewpoint, and therefore perspective.

3. Rhythms

Generally speaking, plan your image in areas packed with details and areas more united, they look at the leader them.

If a rate is too present in your image, you may need to "break".
In the left image, we see an example of some waste from disrupting the order of a meticulous french station.

4. Crop in Photoshop

To eliminate the troublesome elements contours of your image or give more strength to your composition, you may need to crop you why two ways:

The rectangular selection tool and the tool Crop Make a selection tool "rectangle" (M), then in the Image menu, choose "Crop." (which you will use a pixel size or set proportions)

Or use the Crop tool.

But do not forget that rules are never as useful as if they are exceeded ... Do not hesitate to frame and compose your photos as your subject is required to you.
